The full list of restaurants to achieve rosettes in the AA Restaurant Guide 2017 were presented at the AA Hospitality Awards held at Grovesnor House on Park Lane on September 26, 2016.

To obtain a sought after rosette and for the chance to appear in the AA Hotel, Restaurant and Pub Guides, restaurants need to be able to demonstrate skill and understanding when prepping food and use only the freshest ingredients in their dishes.

For the first time in the history of the guide four restaurants were bestowed five rosettes on the night including Hélène Darroze at The Connaught, London; Casamia Restaurant, Bristol; Restaurant Story and Pollen Street Social both in London.

Who were the new four AA Rosette restaurants in the AA Restaurant Guide 2017?

Joining the four rosette club were The Whitebrook, Whitebrook; Winteringham Fields, Winteringham; Number One The Balmoral, Edinburgh; Hampton Manor, Solihull; Paul Ainsworth at No 6, Padstow and Orwells, Henley-on-Thames.

Which chefs and restaurants won awards at the AA Hospitality Awards 2017?

Simon Rogan of the two Michelin starred L’Enclume is the latest in a long line of recipients of the prestigious AA Chef’s Chef of the Year Award while Pierre Koffmann, who is celebrating 50 years in the industry, won the Lifetime Achievement Award.

The AA Food Service Award, which recognises establishments delivering exceptional standards across of service and hospitality, was awarded to The Ritz in London.

Awards were announced at the AA Restaurant Guide Hospitality Awards held at Grovesnor House on Park Lane on September 26, 2016.

The menu for the evening was devised by the previous year’s Chef’s Chef of the Year, Daniel Clifford of two Michelin-starred Midsummer House and Flitch of Bacon.
