I’ll Start

Heard Liverpool finest, watchin Trigger Happy TV the other night and got me thinking what a great bad Echo and the Bunnymen where I can remeber seeing them when I was at School live from Sefton Park, so they’ve been around for years.

My son’s band, Evening Chorus, is competing to open The Green Man Festival in Powys on Friday 20th August. They’re currently third but it appears that it’s dog eat dog in the world of folk music and it’s nip and tuck all the way. I blame carefully orchestrated campaigns by extremely proud parents. Just thought i would make a cheeky wee post, its been a while see

Anywho, what is your most favourite track of all time? I mean one you could play all day and night and still not be sick of it (this could possibly drive your other half mental doing said playing)

Mines would have to be “Dont Look Back Into The Sun” by The Libertines. I fecking love this song, i really could listen to this song on repeat for the rest of my life. Everything is perfect with this song from the lyrics to the brashing guitars and not forgetting Garys amazing drumming skills. Quality.

My beloved other half is not a big fan of said band, it must drive him mad to wakin up in the morning to be faced with a giant canvas of Pete and Carl staring at him. Poor lad
