Hi Staff Canteen
Just thought I would tell you all about what is happening with Restaurant Nathan Outlaw
As you may or may not know I have a Seafood and Grill restaurant in Rock, Cornwall that I own. Also under the same lease came a lovely lounge area with its own kitchen. Over the past 6 months I have been trying to put Restaurant Nathan Outlaw into a much more secure place from a business point of view. Which would in turn allow my team and I to push our standards to a higher level. This thought has pushed me towards making a decision to move the restaurant under the same roof as the seafood and grill and into the space which is currently a lounge. This move will now give me much more control of my whole business.
I am very lucky to have at least 10 members of staff who are very loyal to me and will bring everyone together in the same place. I myself now have the opputunity to cook at the stove 5 days a week which is why I became a chef in the first place.
The new Restaurant Nathan Outlaw will be 24 covers and opens on 12th feb. It will be open tue-sat dinner and fri & sat lunch. It will be almost all seafood which is a massive passion of mine and the menu will be tasting only. There will be a total kitchen and front of house team of 7 with all positions filled with staff who have worked with me before.
The seafood and grill will contiue to run its 80 cover dining room open 7 days breakfast, lunch and dinner with Peter Biggs as head chef.
