Golf Day Success for Springboard in Scotland

Over 20 teams competed at Springboard’s annual Scottish Golf Day, where £2,450 was raised for The Springboard Charity.

On 12th May 2017, budding golfers supported Springboard at The Carrick Golf Course on Loch Lomond, which provided a picturesque putting venue for the annual event. MacDonald Rusacks Hotel, St. Andrews’ team won on the day.

Garry Wood, F&B Manager at Macdonald Rusacks Hotel, St. Andrews, commented: “Thank you very much to Caterer.com and Springboard for inviting us along today. It’s been a fantastic day with a great turnout and I hope we were all able to raise a lot of money for the charity. Looking forward to coming back next year and hopefully winning again!”

Kelly Johnstone, Scotland and North Director for Springboard, commented: “This year’s golf day has been a real success and what amazing hosts The Carrick have been today at our annual golf fundraiser. Each year we invite keen golfers to join us for some fun and fundraising to support all the work Springboard does in Scotland. Working with the industry helps us achieve our aims and objectives each year and it was great to see so many people here today… and to see some great golf too. Thanks to everyone involved and congratulations to the winning team.”

All the funds raised will support The Springboard Charity. Springboard helps young people achieve their potential, nurtures unemployed adults into work and helps alleviate poverty by supporting people into employment within the UK hospitality, leisure and tourism industry.
