Isolation cooking : slow cooker Beef Goulash

A simple dish to gather everything together and make a easy meal.

Ingredients

Beef ( any cut will also do )

  • 500g stewing steak

vegetables ( add what you have )

  • 1 large onion
  • 2 large garlic cloves
  • chickpeas
  • boiled white rice
  • garnish if you wish

dry ingredients

  • 30g plain flour
  • 3 tbsp paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste

wet ingredients

  • 2 tbsp tomato puree
  • 300ml beef stock or equivalent if dont have
  • tin of chopped tomatoes

Method

Prep

Dice beef or however you feel is best to cut it and then coat in flour and paprika .

once done , set into slow cooker , have slow cooker on and running gather up some heat .

any vegetables you are using. You can also add after the beef .
Once beef and the vegetables are together, add your tinned tomatoes and your beef stock and your chickpeas .

You can if you wish brown off your meat first , I however dont and just let the meat cook out for 3 hours until nice and tender.
