Last Chance to Enter and be Crowned Britain’s Best Brigade 2017

Chef teams across the country have until midday on 24th April to answer Essential Cuisine’s call for the hardest-working kitchens in the industry and represent their sector in the search for Britain’s Best Brigade.
With only two weeks until the close of the first round, The Stock People are calling on kitchens who pride themselves on their camaraderie, skill and teamwork to visit www.bestbrigades.co.uk and enter for the chance to win the coveted title, £1000 cash plus a bespoke menu development masterclass.

Executive Head Chef at The Grove, Harry Lomas MBE and Executive Development Chef at the University of Warwick, Graham Crump head up the judging panel, and along with Essential Cuisine MD Nigel Crane have the job of deciding the eight finalists. The winning teams in Healthcare, Restaurants, Hotels, Business & Industry, Schools, Universities & Colleges, Event Caterers and Pubs will then be asked to bring their paper entries to life in the form of a 60-second video to win over the public who will ultimately decide who is Britain’s Best Brigade.

Nigel Crane, Managing Director for Essential Cuisine, says: “No matter the sector, great cooking can be found in every corner of this fantastic industry and we’re determined to recognise the hard-working teams who make it happen. From hospitals to hotels we’ve already had some fantastic brigades enter our competition for 2017 and I would urge anyone who feels like their kitchen team could be Britain’s best to enter now before it’s too late.”
