Top restaurants donate dining experiences to Farm Africa’s Growing Futures appeal

Thirteen restaurants within this year’s World 50 Best Restaurants list have joined forces to donate meals to Farm Africa’s online #DineForGood auction.

From 21 November to 8 December, the restaurants will be giving foodies a chance to bid on exclusive dining experiences at some of the world’s best restaurants. From personalised menus to meet and greets with some of the world’s top chefs, Farm Africa will auction off an incredible selection of once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to the highest bidder.

Farm Africa is also excited to announce that Eleven Madison Park, the best restaurant in the world, will be participating in the draw. Unlike the rest of the lots, which will be auctioned off, you’ll have to enter a £10 prize draw to win a dinner for two, with matching wine pairing, at Eleven Madison Park.

Restaurants taking part in the auction include: Alinea (Chicago), Amber (Hong Kong), Andre (Singapore), Brae (Birregurra (Melbourne), Cosme (New York City), De Librije (Zwolle), Eleven Madison Park (New York City), Le Bernardin (New York City), Maido (Lima), Mugaritz (Errenteria) Pujol (Mexico City), Steirereck (Vienna) and Tickets (Barcelona).

“From Michelin-starred French cuisine in Hong Kong to Peruvian-Japanese fusion in Lima, the auction’s global reach is a powerful demonstration of the food sector’s commitment to ending poverty in Africa,” reflects Jenni Bright, Farm Africa’s Head of Fundraising.

Money raised in the United Kingdom will go twice as far because the UK government will double your donation to Farm Africa’s auction. Your support will go towards Farm Africa’s Growing Futures appeal, which helps young farmers living in western Kenya develop sustainable farming businesses.
