Gastropub of the Year

The Coach, West Street, Marlow, Buckinghamshire

Bradley Cacela and The Coach carry on one of the great pub stories. Tom Kerridge opened The Coach in Marlow in December 2014 as the more relaxed sibling to the two-Michelin-starred Hand and Flowers, and it won a Bib Gourmand within a year and a Michelin star in 2018, which it has kept ever since. Its rotisserie, seasonal small plates and generous British cooking have been led by a string of chefs who came up through the Kerridge kitchens, and Bradley, a former senior sous chef at the Hand and Flowers, took on his first head chef role there. Vote for Bradley and The Coach if you back a pub that proves Michelin-level cooking can be warm, fun and proper pub food.
