TSC AWARDS 2026 - Celebrating Hospitality, Powered by You
Launched in 2020, The Staff Canteen Awards are the only hospitality awards entirely nominated and voted for by our audience, with no judging panels and no sponsor influence. Born in the middle of the pandemic, that first year drew over 30,000 votes, giving an industry in lockdown a much-needed moment of recognition and, as founder Mark Morris put it, "a great distraction from all the doom and gloom."
What began as a virtual celebration has grown into hospitality's biggest people's choice event. The ceremony found its first live home at The Compound Studio in Birmingham from 2021 to 2023, before moving to Scotland House in London for 2024 and 2025, when votes climbed past 52,000, our biggest response yet.
Along the way, categories have expanded from six to eight, growing beyond chef of the year to celebrate front of house teams, kitchen porters, sustainability, social media influence, member of the year and gastropubs, because hospitality is powered by every role, not just the ones in the spotlight.
In 2026, the awards move to a new home: 83 Rivington Street in Shoreditch, London, ready to celebrate another year of the people who make our industry what it is.

HOW TO NOMINATE AND VOTE
NOMINATING
Pick an award category and complete the online form to nominate yourself or someone you think deserves to win. It only takes a minute, and it could be the reason someone gets the recognition they deserve, so don't wait, nominate today!
NOTE: YOU ONLY NEED TO BE NOMINATED ONCE
Member of the Year and KP of the Year are not open for nominations. Member of the Year goes straight to a public vote, while KP of the Year is decided by a judging panel ahead of the ceremony.
VOTING
This year there's just one round of voting, so every vote really matters. When voting opens, get your team, friends, family and social media followers voting straight away, the more votes, the better your chances.
The shortlist of 4 finalists for each category will be announced on 10 November 2026. Winners will then be unveiled live on the night at the ceremony on 16 November 2026, and every shortlisted nominee can bring up to 3 guests along to celebrate with them.
Don't stop at one vote, keep sharing, keep asking, and keep reminding people right up until voting closes. Every vote counts!
Remember, there's no judging panel (except for KP of the Year), every award is nominated and voted for by you, so get your team involved, family, friends, cats, dogs, customers, suppliers; you can copy and paste the link on your social channels and ask your followers to vote too. Good Luck!
