British Culinary Federation announce finalist line-up
The British Culinary Federation (BCF) has announced the 14 finalists competing for the prestigious BCF Chef of the Year 2025 title.
The final will take place on June 23 at University College Birmingham, with the winner to be revealed that evening at a special dinner and awards ceremony.
The top prize includes a £2,000 cash award, a commemorative plate, a framed certificate, and an exclusive chef’s trip to Ireland, sponsored by Aubrey Allen and Bord Bia.
This year’s judging panel features an impressive lineup of industry leaders: Fabrice Uhryn (The Waterside Inn), Daniel Stucki (Sketch), Aktar Islam (Opheem), Adam Smith (Coworth Park), Rachel Humphry (Chez Roux) and former winner Kevin Buck (Fantomas).
Competition organiser Peter Griffiths said: "Once again support and interest from industry has been terrific and very encouraging. The BCF is looking forward to what promises to be another very exciting final."
The competition is supported by Goodfellows and Steelite Utopia.
