Twofour Broadcast, the producers that brought you programmes such as Educating Yorkshire and Cooks Questions, are on the hunt for four restaurants who are looking to hire a head chef.

They are looking to film with four restaurants in total across a 16 x 60’ part series for a new culinary programme to be aired next year with the deadline for applications in January (although the first part of filming is to start in November).

If you are looking for your head chef then this could be great publicity for the restaurant as each restaurant will be featured across a week Monday – Thursday, prime-time early evening, on the BBC.

Restaurants can apply here:

Twofour are looking for a wide variety of restaurants; but they must be genuinely looking to hire a new Head Chef.  They said: “This is a great opportunity for the restaurant to have Chefs competing to work at their restaurant. It will give them the opportunity to test out the chefs culinary and business skills before they hire them!”

They are also looking for Chefs themselves to compete for the said job of Head Chef, and are also casting for Chefs across the country to take part. So if you are looking to make the next step up the career ladder you can apply for the role here:
