Salt Yard Group to open fourth restaurant Ember Yard next week


Salt Yard Group co-founder Simon Mullins and Chef Director Ben Tish will open their fourth restaurant Ember Yard on Berwick Street in London’s Soho next Tuesday.  The new opening takes inspiration from Spanish and Italian methods of cooking over charcoal and joins the list of current Salt Yard Group restaurants Opera Tavern, Salt Yard and Dehesa.

Corby curry restaurant wins national title for second time


The Royal Tandoori Restaurant in Corby has been voted the best restaurant in the East Midlands in the 2013 Asian Curry Awards for the second year running.  More 1,000 leading Asian restaurateurs, VIPs and embassy dignitaries gathered for a gala dinner at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London to honour the winners of Asian Curry Awards 2013 at the weekend.

David Beckham signs hotel deal


David Beckham is to turn hotelier after signing a deal with an American hotel group to develop the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.  The former England football player has joined forces with the Las Vegas Sands, a luxury hotel group, with plans to develop dining, retail and leisure facilities at properties in the Far East.
