Dave's Hot Chicken announces double expansion to major UK cities
Dave’s Hot Chicken is Heating Up the UK with new Locations in Birmingham and Manchester.
The UK food scene is getting a fiery boost as Dave’s Hot Chicken, the popular L.A. fried chicken brand backed by rapper Drake, prepares to expand beyond its London flagship.
Following months of queues at its Shaftesbury Avenue site, Dave’s is set to bring its bold Nashville-style spice to Birmingham and Manchester this summer.
Birmingham - New Street Opening in July
First up is Birmingham, where Dave’s will open its second UK site in July 2025. Located at 56 New Street, the restaurant takes over a striking Art Deco corner building in the heart of the city.
The 102-cover venue will feature a space-themed interior with UFOs, holograms, and graffiti. Just steps from shops, cinemas, and New Street Station, it’s poised to become a must-visit food destination.
Manchester - Printworks Launch on 8 August
Dave’s next stop is Manchester, with a 139-seat restaurant launching on August 8 inside the Printworks complex. Inspired by the city’s legendary rave culture, the industrial-style interior will feature exposed steel, high ceilings, and laser lights.
The Menu and Mission
Both new locations will serve the same fan-favourite menu as London, including spicy tenders, sliders, slushers, and top-loaded shakes. With seven spice levels, from "No Heat" to "Reaper," Dave’s delivers serious flavour - and serious heat.
Jim Attwood, Managing Director of Dave’s Hot Chicken UK said: “We’re taking Dave’s Hot Chicken nationwide, Birmingham and Manchester are rising stars in the UK food scene, and these openings mark the start of something big.”
