David Colcombe leaves Opus

Today it has been announced that David Colcombe has today left his position as chef director at Opus at Cornwall Street, Birmingham. 

Speaking to David he said that it was a mutual agreement and that he is leaving to pursue other interests.

Ann Tonks, one of David's fellow directors also mirrored this statement saying "David has left Opus by mutual agreement. We understand he is going on to pursue other interests."

Opus opened 10 years ago with David and his team committed to using good, seasonal produce in a menu that changed daily. The aim of Opus is to celebrate market fresh British produce, allowing the flavours of the top class ingredients to shine through.
