Now in its fourth year, The Great Sausage Roll Off at The Red Lion, Barnes is back and will be taking place on Wednesday, January 27, fundraising for Shooting Star Chase.

Hosted by award-winning beer and food writer Melissa Cole, chefs from across the country will be descending on The Red Lion to create the ultimate sausage roll.

Joining returning judge Charles Campion, the judging panel will also include Emma Spitzer, Masterchef 2015 finalist, Thane Prince, Eat Judge on The Big Allotment Challenge and Tom Kemble, head chef, Bonhams Restaurant.

Last year’s competition was won by John Grabecki, head chef at BNY Mellon, with his rabbit sausage roll with black pudding, rabbit leg, loin, maple syrup and Bayonne ham served with rabbit liver parfait, offal crumb and powdered potato.

If you want to enter fill the form here, follow @redlionbarnes on twitter, use #Rolloff  in copious amounts of tweets, and get practising!

Remember it’s entertaining, it’s interesting & it’s delicious, but most of all it's light hearted seriousness!
