On Thursday 25th September, James Martin will be celebrating a successful first year for his eponymous Manchester restaurant, James Martin Manchester at Manchester235. The popular chef will be on hand to prepare a six-course menu, along with Moet champagne and wines, to mark the occasion.

“We’ve had an incredible first year at James Martin Manchester and myself and the team are really looking forward to celebrating with guests on the 25th,” says an enthusiastic Martin of the anniversary event. The evening will offer the chef the opportunity to further showcase his enviable culinary talents, as well as the quality of service on offer at James Martin Manchester as it goes into its second year.

He adds: “Our main ethos at the restaurant from the very start has been to provide customers with simple, high quality, well-cooked food that inspires people to return time and again, and we believe we have achieved that. Our birthday celebration is an opportunity to celebrate that and to look to the year ahead.”

In its first year, Martin’s third restaurant has played host to a number of special events. All of the events as part of the Wine and Meat series were sold out, and occasions including Supercar Sunday, Ladies Lunch and Gentlemen’s Dinner have continued to drive new customers through the restaurant’s doors. The success, with reservations for the popular restaurant far exceeding expectations in its debut year, is akin to Martin’s previous achievements with his North Yorkshire restaurant, set inside The Talbot Hotel.

The celebrity chef, known for presenting Saturday Kitchen as well as appearing on a number of other BBC and Channel 4 shows, provides the a la carte menu for his restaurant which is changed seasonally to keep with high quality, fresh ingredients. Martin sources his ingredients from some of the UK’s best butchers, fishmongers, farmers and cheese makers.

Located at Manchester235, Martin’s popular restaurant neighbours the city’s Vegas-style casino.  The casino itself is home to two restaurants, of which Martin’s is one, and offers a wide range of gaming tables and entertainment facilities. While providing a unique setting for Martin’s eatery, the casino is set separately with the restaurant premises on a mezzanine floor away from the entertainment facilities.

Tickets for the event will cost £125 per person and will be available from the James Martin Manchester website on the phone. The anniversary event starts at 7pm, with Martin’s six courses taking guests through the evening.
