Kieran Bellerby has announced he will be stepping down as Head Chef from the Michelin-starred The Fordwich Arms in Canterbury with Chef Owner Dan Smith taking on the role temporarily.

The announcement from Kieran Bellerby was made via a post on his social media channels earlier this week.

In a post on Instagram, Kieran said: "LAST service done with the most incredible team at The Fordwich Arms! It’s been an incredible 5 years, with the most amazing achievements, friends, and guests."

Thanking the owners Dan and Tasha Smith, he added: "The legends Dan Smith & Tasha Smith gave me an opportunity at the tender age of 21 to be part of the unstoppable team they were creating, and it’s been unbelievable. So, thank you to all."

Speaking to The Staff Canteen, Kieran confirmed that Dan would be taking over the head chef role whilst the pub searches for a new head chef.

Discussing plans on what’s next for him, Kieran said he would be moving to Asia and was undecided in his next role.

The Fordwich Arms is looking to hire a new head chef.
