The renowned 1950’s Parisian-style Café Le Cordon Bleu has signed up to support Action Against Hunger’s Love Food Give Food appeal to help raise funds in the fight against child hunger.

During September and October, customers visiting Café Le Cordon Bleu in London, will be given the opportunity to add a small donation to their bill in order to support Action Against Hunger’s Love Food Give Food appeal. The donation will go towards helping provide safe water for vulnerable communities and help feed families.

Emil Minev, the Culinary Arts Director at Le Cordon Bleu London said: “We are really proud to be supporting such a great charity that does so much work to help those around the world that are so much less fortunate than ourselves. To think that such a small donation from our Café’s customers will make such a big difference to the futures of so many hungry children is such an amazing prospect.”

Reports show 52 million children under five around the world are suffering from acute malnutrition, 2.5 billion people do not have access to basic sanitation and 783 million people can’t access clean water.

Café Le Cordon Bleu offers a range of artisan breads, French patisseries, viennoiseries, gourmet sandwiches as well as daily specials. The Café creates exciting new products, with the help of the Master Chefs of the world-renowned culinary arts, wine and management school, Le Cordon Bleu London.
