The executive chef at the popular central London restaurant has announced that he is “no longer involved” as a consultant at Neo-Bistro in Mayfair.

Neo-Bistro is Mark’s second restaurant which opened in July 2017 which had a focus on the food being innovative, contemporary and homely but in the surroundings of an old school pub.

Mark is leaving Neo-Bistro to spend more time with his other two restaurants, Anglo which is in London’s Farringdon and Stem in the West End.

A statement from chef Mark Jarvis about his departure from Neo-Bistro said: “Effective immediately, chef Mark Jarvis has announced that he is no longer involved as a consultant to Neo-Bistro in Mayfair. The management and staff of that restaurant will continue to operate the site until further notice.

“Mark had been advising the restaurant on menus and kitchen operation since its opening in June 2017.  Mark is the owner of two restaurant - Anglo (in Farringdon) and Stem (in Mayfair), but concentrates his time at Anglo where he is in the kitchen full-time, while collaborating with head chef Sam Ashton-Booth at Stem.”

Anglo opened in 2016 and is well known amongst the top food critics in London and is award winning with publications like The Observer and GQ for its modern British food in a relaxed environment.
