A further 12 restaurants have been added to the Michelin Guide for Great Britain and Ireland this month

After publishing The Michelin Guide for Great Britain and Ireland 2022 in February, the guide also announced seven additions to its digital guide (which you can access here) in September - Plaza Khao Gaeng, London; Little Hollows Pasta, Bristol; 1610, Dumfries; Seacliff, Berrynarbor; Rattle Owl, York; Arkle, Chester; Apricity, London

The tyre company introduced monthly releases last year, but will only list restaurants worthy of a visit between publishing its annual guide: stars, Bib Gourmands and Green stars will continue to be announced annually.

As of this month, the following tweleve restaurants will be listed in the Michelin Guide:

Upstairs at Landrace, Bath

The two levelled bakery specialises in sourdough bread made from stone-milled, locally sourced grains. Downstairs at Landrace you’ll find a shop, selling delicious baked items, while upstairs it's famed bijoux restaurant, open for cakes, pastries and coffee in the mornings; and modern, seasonal British dishes at lunch and dinner.

Seasgair by Michel Roux Jr, Fort William

Seasgair offers two elegant dining rooms, surrounded by wonderful gardens, showcasing fine Scottish produce on a set 5-course menu. Book the Mary Shaw table in the library for a communal dining experience.

Kushi-Ya, Nottingham

A Japanese restaurant specialises in kushiyaki: skewers of meat and vegetables cooked over a charcoal grill. The guide notes how Kushi-Ya's dishes come with plenty of flavour and a reasonable price tag. 

The Mount, Henley-in-Arden

With celebrated chef called Glynn Purnell at the helm, The Mount offers a bar, bistro and a terrace too, whilst it's menus offer delicious pub dishes made from local produce, accompanied by a well-priced wine list to accompany.

Seasonality, Maidenhead, Berkshire

Orginating as a produce shop, which provided dine-at-home boxes during lockdown, Sesonality offers ingredient-led dishes full of colour and flavour.

1863, Pooley Bridge, Ullswater

1863 provides both a restaurant with rooms, offering modern British dishes and suggested wine pairings for guests visiting Ullswater, and the Lake District.

Saint Francis Provisions, Kinsale, Ireland

Led by Barbara Nealon the restaurant is a laid-back spot for dinner for diners in Kinsale. Guests can sit at the kitchen counter and enjoy natural wines and Mediterranean-inspired small plates.

The Princess Royal, Bayswater and Maida Vale, London

Owned by Cubitt House, the pub offers guests some of the best outdoor dining space in the city, whilst offering a menu inspired by the Italian philosophy of bringing together a few, good quality ingredients and letting the flavours shine through. 

The Dining Room at 27, St Ives, Cornwall

The Dinning Room offers guests a tasting menu showcasing superb local ingredients and some terrific Cornish seafood. Ask for one of the tables with a sea view.

Rising Sun Inn, Altarnun, Cornwall

The pub is hugely decor oozes character; with flagged floors, timbered ceilings and exposed stone walls, providing guests with modern pub dishes that are carefully cooked, boldly flavoured and original.

Tropea, Birmingham

A bright, buzzing neighbourhood restaurant, providng a interesting range of tasty Italian sharing plates. The homemade pasta dishes are a must-order.

Il Borro, Mayfair, London

The Ferragamo family and their Tuscan estate have provided life to Berkeley street after Nobu vacated the area. Il Borro boasts a big, bold bistro, with flavours and prices to match.
