Michelin star chef Richard Davies to host fundraising lunch at The Manor House, Castle Combe.

Michelin-starred chef Richard Davies and The Manor House, an Exclusive Hotel and Golf Club, will be hosting the third Chefs’ Forum Autumn Lunch in aid of Industry charity, Hospitality Action, on October 13, 2014.

The event will raise funds for Hospitality Action, a charity which supports hospitality staff when they fall on hard times. Richard Davies, executive chef of the Bybrook at The Manor House said: “I am delighted to be hosting this year’s Autumnal Lunch at The Manor House. Both Hospitality Action and Chefs’ Forum carry out vital work in the hospitality industry, nurturing young talent and ensuring they are given the support they need to flourish.”

He added:  “It’s also a privilege for myself, to be able to work with some of the most talented chefs in the South West to bring this event together.” Richard will be joined by five Michelin-starred and TV chef peers from the South West who will each cook one of six courses. Chefs taking part include Sam Moody at The Bath Priory, Jon Howe at Lumiere Restaurant, Emily Watkins at The Kingham Plough, Hywel Jones at Lucknam Park and James Durrant at The Plough Inn at Longparish. Ingredients for the lunch will be donated by generous suppliers and Forum Partners, including the finest caviar from Princesse D’Isenbourg, meat from Walter Rose & Sons and fish from Flying Fish.
