Playboy Club London appoints new Executive Chef - Elmar Basziszta

Playboy Club London has announced the appointment of a new Executive Chef, Elmar Basziszta.

Elmar will oversee the cuisine in The Dining Room, The Players Bar, Salvatore’s Bar and Baroque, as well as private dining and events.

Originally from Austria, Elmar began his career with a BA in Hotel Management from the Ecole de Lausanne, where he majored in cooking and baking. His course included a six month internship with the Michelin-starred chef Alain Ducasse at Louis XV in Monte Carlo.

Elmar was most recently employed as a Consultant Executive Chef at a private London residence having previously worked at some of the world’s top hotels including the Kempinski in Moscow, The Burj Al Arab in Dubai and the new Shangri-La hotels in Istanbul. Elmar has also worked in South
Africa, LA, Colorado, Singapore, Kuwait, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Hong Kong and Malaysia.

Elmar was chosen to head the club’s culinary operation due to his extensive international experience. His menus across Playboy Club London will offer diners a range of classic and modern dishes taking inspiration from his travels as well as his passion for French cuisine.
