Hotelympia, the UK’s most comprehensive event for the hospitality industry, is welcoming registration for next year’s event at London’s ExCel between 28 April and 1 May.

The revitalised 2014 edition boasts a new look, new format and new date and will be held in one extended, single access hall which benefits from free WiFi to ensure all activities are in the same place.

Among a host of leading names in the industry who will be gracing the stage are Tom Kerridge, Sir Terence Conran, Tom Aikens and Phil Howard whilst the HOSPA Hub Seminars and Design stage will demonstrate some of the groundbreaking and cutting-edge technology on offer. World class culinary competition Salon Culinaire will also be making a return.

Toby Wand, managing director at event organisers Fresh Montgomery, said: “For almost 80 years, Hotelympia has retained its place as the biggest, most comprehensive tradeshow for the hospitality industry, always building and evolving.

“Next year we are upping the ante again, putting innovation in design and technology at the heart of our offer, creating what promises to be the most relevant and comprehensive visitor experience yet – a true hotbed of innovation.”

Billed as a show-within-a-show, Design at Hotelympia will see the welcome return of the Hotelympia Design Award, and the Design Lounge, as well as a host of new initiatives. Among the partners for next year’s show are the Society of British and International Design (SBID), Hospitality Professionals Association (HOSPA) and Hospitality Financial & Technology Professionals (HFTP).

With sustainability in mind, 2014 sees Hotelympia launch WasteWorks, a new, co-located event focusing purely on suppliers of waste solutions and services seeking to target the hospitality sector. The Careers in Hospitality event will return on days one and two while the show will once again host the Innovation Awards.

Adding to the Hotelympia experience will be the Show Makers, inspired by the success of the London 2012 Games Makers, who will be on hand for all four days to offer advice and guidance.

The show is already 75% sold so any companies wishing to be a part of the event should act quickly with more details available at the Hotelympia 2014 website.
