Celebrated chef and cookbook author Sabrina Ghayour has penned a one year consultancy deal with Restaurant Associates to help develop the offering across the group's UK portfolio

Her partnership with the Compass Group UK and Ireland subsidiary will see her design dishes for the company to roll out across its UK sites, which include Glyndebourne Opera House, Hatfield House, Hever Castle, as well as getting involved in staff training, hosting pop-ups and events around the country.

The acclaimed British-Iranian chef and cookbook author, who rose to prominence with her Persian and Middle Eastern supperclub, Sabrina’s Kitchen Supperclub, has published five cookbooks, with her sixth set for release in August. She has also become a staple in the British media space, making regular appearances on Saturday Kitchen, Sunday Brunch, and was a judge on the BBC's Great British Menu in 2015.

She was first involved with Restaurant Associates eight years ago, and said that she was "really thrilled to be back in the kitchen working with these brilliant people."

Group chef at Restaurant Associates Ian Human said the partnership "really endorses our food offering because we know it's going to be authentic, it's the real thing. They're proper recipes that work, that are delicious, that look amazing, they taste amazing, it ticks every box for us."

Managing director Matt Thomas said the chef's involvement "offers a unique opportunity for Restaurant Associates to further diversify our offer adding to our consultant community including Dipna Anand, Michel Roux Jr. and Jason Atherton."
