For this year’s Manchester Food and Drink Festival (taking place from 10-21 September) Simon Rogan and four of his chef partners will each be hosting a night to present their cooking style at The French; with a donation of £20 from each ticket sold going to Hospitality Action.

Adam Reid from The French, Tom Barnes from L’Enclume, Dan Cox of Fera at Claridge’s and David Simms, managing director of Simon’s group of restaurants will all re-create their distinctive style at The Midland Hotel on the following dates:

The menus are all priced at £100 per person, including the £20 per person donation to Hospitality Action, with an accompanying wine flight available on request for £60 per person. Booking can be made on 0161 932 4198 or via the website http://www.the-french.co.uk/reservations/

Manchester Food and Drink Festival takes place from 10 – 21 September and is an urban food and drink festival with no one location as the festival takes over as much of the City Centre and surrounding districts of Greater Manchester as possible, with a huge programme of events taking place, both indoor and outdoor.

Like Manchester itself, the festival is both ‘original and modern’ with previous events and participation ranging from a children's food workshop at a community library in Salford, to a glittering Gala Dinner at The Lowry Hotel.

Over the years the Festival has drawn names as diverse as Jamie Oliver, Gordon Ramsay, Bill Wyman, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and now Simon Rogan and his team of four at The French.
