Big news from the team at Sō-lō: the restaurant will temporarily close its doors to begin an extensive refurbishment, marking the start of an exciting new chapter.

Head chef Tim Allen, alongside Mag and the entire team, is reimagining the space and the experience with one goal in mind - to create a stronger, more immersive dining journey that stays true to Sō–lō’s roots while evolving for the future.

The upcoming transformation will see the restaurant undergo a full redesign, introducing a more modern look that complements Sō–lō’s relaxed and unpretentious style.

Alongside the refreshed interiors, guests can look forward to a brand new Chef’s Table - an intimate setting designed to bring diners even closer to the creative process behind the food.

Although the restaurant will be closed through late summer and into autumn, the return is already on the horizon. Sō–lō will reopen in early November, just in time for the festive season.

A post on social media read: "We’re about to embark on an exciting new chapter here at sō–lō - and you, our loyal followers, are the first to know.

"After lunch service on Sunday 27th July, we’ll be closing for an extensive refurbishment as Tim, Mag and the team reimagine the restaurant for the future.

"Here’s what to expect: A modern new look with that same relaxed sō–lō vibe. A restructured menu with more flexibility provided through shorter and more expanded menu offeringsA brand new Chef’s Table.

"This next step is all about giving you a stronger, more immersive dining experience - flavour-first and produce-led. We can’t wait to share what we’ve been planning.

"We’ll reopen in early November, but in the meantime, follow along here and in our newsletter for sneak peeks behind the scenes.

"Thank you, always, for being part of the journey."

Sō–lō’s final service before the refurbishment will take place on Sunday 27th July at lunch. Bookings for the Christmas season are now open, and guests are encouraged to reserve early as demand is expected to be high.
