For the first time Barry Vera, executive chef of STK London, has created USDA beef tasting menu in honour of the 4th July, American Independence Day.

Launching this weekend, the tasting menu will feature four small dishes; beef ceviche (with lime, chilli and coriander), STK’s signature Lil BRGR, shin of beef ravioli (with bone marrow sauce) and Asian beef (with hot and sour dressing).

The main course is a 300g USDA sirloin steak served with parmesan truffle chips and STK sauce.

To finish, guests will enjoy STK’s playful Taste of the Fairground dessert; candyfloss, toffee apples, cookie milkshake, peanut butter and raspberry macarons, salted caramel doughnuts and sweet shop marshmallows.

STK serves prime grade steak, which is amongst the top 2% produced in America. The steak is 28-day custom-aged USDA prime beef and is recognized for its tenderness, juiciness, flavour and texture. It has a high degree of fat marbling and is derived from young cattle.

STK London’s USDA tasting menu will launch on Saturday 4th July and will cost £55 per person for the month of July and £65 thereinafter. The Tasting Menu is available by reservation only for parties of 4 or more.

STK London is located on the Strand and is an upscale modern steakhouse operated by New York based The ONE Group.

The restaurant differentiates itself by concentrating on the social experience with its contemporary design and in-house DJ who creates a dynamic atmosphere.

STK has locations in New York City, Washington DC, Miami, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, London, and Milan with additional locations coming soon to Chicago and Orlando.
