At The Staff Canteen, we pride ourselves on being the largest community for chefs and hospitality workers across the UK.
What started out as a chef’s forum almost 20 years ago has continually expanded.
We are now in a position where we bring you weekly long-form features with the nation’s best chefs, both in video and written form, as well as regular exclusive interviews, news pieces and social media clips from inside the most talked about kitchens.
We have also been present at some of the industry’s top events this year, from the Michelin Guide ceremony in Glasgow, to the World’s 50 Best in Turin and the BCF Chef of the Year finals in Birmingham.

Despite this, unlike many other online media outlets, we have resisted the urge to ever put up a paywall, allowing all of our content to be viewed free of charge.
The Staff Canteen community is always, and will always, be driven by you – our members.
We want to keep bringing you closer to the action of the best kitchens, gaining insights from industry-leading figures like Daniel Clifford, Tom Kerridge, Andrew Wong and Martin Wishart.
We know times are incredibly tough at the moment, especially in hospitality.
