A pop-up dining experience combining theatre, food & set design, the ‘East to Osterley’ is a new collaboration between the dining collective and the National Trust London. It will focus on the collections of the East India Company, presenting them on your plate, in your glass, and all around you, for this very special event.

This opportunity will allow you to dine in the long gallery at National Trust’s Osterley House, amidst the treasures collected from the Orient by Osterley’s owner Robert Child, who will personally regale you with tales of his adventures. As prospective patrons of the East India Trading Company, Robert will attempt to win your favour during a five-course dinner inspired by his travels.

Each of the five courses designed by chef Ellen Parr will encapsulate the exotic flavours of the countries most visited by Robert Child.

Established in 2010, The Art of Dining have rapidly grown to become one of the leading pop-up collectives in London, collaborating with everyone from the V&A, the National Trust and Jose Cuervo Tequila.

The concept is simple: take an unusual setting, use set design to create a fully immersive backdrop, serve a menu that is perfectly tailored to the surroundings and throw in some theatrical surprises to create an all-encompassing themed dining experience.

Set designer Alice Hodge will transform the stunning Long Gallery with silks, colours, birds and flowers. The Art of Dining’s trademark interactive elements will feature throughout the meal.
