The Good Food Guide Announces Collaboration with ITV1's Britain's Best Dish   The Good Food Guide has announced it is to collaborate with ITV1's flagship daytime cookery show Britain's Best Dish - The Chefs this autumn.

The Good Food Guide will publish the tie-in book*, Britain's Best Dish - The Chefs, in November this year.  The book will feature recipes from all 112 chefs competing in the show and will comprise a mix of main courses and desserts. Only chefs approved by The Good Food Guide 2012 have been invited to appear on Britain's Best Dish - The Chefs and members of The Good Food Guide team, including Consultant Editor Elizabeth Carter, will be involved in the judging stages of the programme.

Some of the UK's finest cookery talent has been secured to appear on the show, which is the first series to feature professional chefs following five hugely successful series of the amateur version. Britain's Best Dish - The Chefs will broadcast over 8 weeks this autumn, with 40 one-hour long shows. The show is presented by Mary Nightingale and previous series have attracted audiences of over 2 million viewers.

Angela Newton, Publisher of The Good Food Guide, commented: "It's an exciting extension to The Good Food Guide brand to be working with Britain's Best Dish on this new show.  Some fantastic chefs will be taking part and the accompanying book is set to be a real treat for amateur cooks wanting to recreate some fabulous professional dishes in the comfort of their own kitchens."
