The Winner of last month's Sous Vide Tools PolyScience Circulator Competition is Sean McCann of Belfast. Sean wins a PolyScience Sous Vide Professional Thermal Circulator, developed to meet the standards of the world's best chefs.

A draw was held this morning at The Staff Canteen headquarters and Sean McCann's name was the first pulled out of a pot of 155 entries.

Sean is the newly-appointed head chef at Malone Golf Club in Belfast where he started only last Monday, before that Sean was head chef at  the new Titanic Belfast building.

On winning the competition, 34-year-old Sean said: "I'm over the moon about winning the prize. We were talking about getting a water bath at my new kitchen, now that problem's sorted so it's great news for everyone."

The competition, which closed on March 29th, was run in collaboration between The Staff Canteen and Sous Vide Tools and required entrants to email The Staff Canteen the cost of a PolyScience Professional Circulator from the Sous Vide Tools website.

Managing Director of Sous Vide Tools, Alex Shannon, said: "We are delighted and overwhelmed with the number of entrants to win one of our PolyScience Sous Vide Thermal Circulators in The Staff Canteen competition. We truly hope that Sean enjoys the prize and can put it to good use."

Sous Vide Tools are the sole importer of PolyScience products in the UK.
