Eric Snaith, chef patron at Norfolk’s award-winning Titchwell Manor is set to open Eric’s Fish and Chips next month at Drove Orchards in Thornham.

To celebrate the arrival of his new restaurant Eric will be offering all diners 50% off on the nation’s favourite, traditional fish and chips which will run from 7th – 17th April.

Head chef at Titchwell Manor, a family-run boutique hotel on the north Norfolk coast. Eric is a self-taught chef who started on pot wash in the Titchwell kitchen at the age of fifteen before moving away, only to find himself back as head chef.

His new venture Eric’s Fish & Chips harks back to the traditional British fish and chip restaurants of the past but with a modern European influence on the menu.

Seaside favourites, freshness and simplicity are the focus and only sustainable fish will be served – beer-battered to ensure lightness, crunch and that iconic British flavour. Local potatoes will be used for the chips, cooked in beef dripping for maximum crunch and traditional taste or local rapeseed oil for vegetarians.

A menu of small plates, unique sides and traditional sauces will accompany alongside a concise wine list from long-running Titchwell Manor supplier Hallgarten Druit.

This dining discount is valid on sit-down dining only. Simply visit www.ericsfishandchips.com, download the offer, fill out the form and present to your waiter / waitress on arrival.

We'll be bringing you further photos soon so keep your eyes peeled.
