Details revealed for new Tom Kerridge London bar
More details have been revealed about Tom Kerridge's new bar in London, Georgie's Bar, opening alongside an evolved Kerridge's restaurant at Corinthia London on Saturday, September 5.
It comes eight years after Kerridge's first arrived at the five-star Westminster hotel.
Kerridge's, rebranded from Kerridge's Bar and Grill, has been a fixture of London's dining scene since 2018, known for Tom's celebrated British cooking.
The restaurant closed for the redesign following service in early August 2026, and reopens with a larger, more prominent Georgie's Bar beside a more intimate Kerridge's, with the seasonal, produce-led cooking that has defined the restaurant continuing under the new layout.
Georgie's Bar: cocktails, classic pours and bar food
Georgie's drinks programme brings together new signature serves, a run of classics, and a wider selection of spirits, wines, beers and ales, including Rebellion Lager, Hazy Pale and IPA from the Marlow Brewery, long associated with Tom's pubs.
At its centre is Georgie's Martini club: four Martinis served straight from the freezer, Dry, Wet, Dirty and the Steak, the bar's take on a classic Gibson finished with a house-smoked pickled onion, alongside classics from the French 75 to the Espresso Martini.
A dedicated bar menu is designed for drink pairings, including pork scratchings and buttermilk fried chicken as snacks, and a cheeseburger with barbecue brisket and haddock fritters with Matson sauce, a riff on Tom's fish and chips, among the larger plates.

The bar's name has personal roots. Georgie was Tom's Boxer, whose paw print was left in wet concrete while the floor was being laid at The Hand & Flowers in Marlow, and later became an emblem of Kerridge's in London that now runs through Georgie's Bar's identity throughout the space.
Kerridge's: British cooking and the Chef's Larder
Head chef Tom Childs continues to lead the Kerridge's kitchen day-to-day in partnership with Tom Kerridge, carrying forward the restaurant's approach to generous, produce-led British cooking.
Starters on the à la carte menu include crab crumpet with isot biber chilli, shrimp mayonnaise and fennel salad, while mains range from fillet of John Dory to whole Cornish lobster thermidor with sauce américaine, and desserts pair Gary Rhodes' bread and butter pudding with a lighter passion fruit posset.
A centrepiece of the experience remains the Chef's Larder, built around expert butchery, premium British meat and fire-led cooking, where guests choose their cut before it's cooked to order.
Signature steaks include a 28-day dry-aged beef ribeye, sirloin on the bone, fillet on the bone and a 1kg côte de boeuf, supplemented by special cuts from British producers.
Sunday lunch centres on roast ribeye of beef with stuffed Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, red cabbage and horseradish cream, and the wine cellar pairs familiar grapes such as Riesling and Gamay with distinctive varieties including Koshu, Tsitska and Peruvian Tannat. A private dining room seats up to 16 guests.
The design
The redesign creates two distinct destinations. Georgie's Bar is now more expansive, with banquettes, bar stools and intimate tables, while Kerridge's sits behind a velvet partition in a concealed 57-cover dining room, its deep burgundy leather set against navy, warm gold and antique brass next door in the bar, which is also home to “Steve”, a full-size bronze figure by sculptor Beth Cullen-Kerridge, Tom's wife.
Kerridge's shows further works by Beth alongside pieces from gallerists West Contemporary and artist Robi Walters, whose signature “petal” tabletops use menus collected from the public via Tom's social media. Georgie's paw print threads between the two spaces, and the bar welcomes a DJ on Saturday evenings.
‘Unmistakably Kerridge’s’
Tom Childs said: “It's incredibly exciting to be reopening Kerridge's and to introduce Georgie's Bar alongside it.
"Kerridge's has been such an important part of my career since I joined in 2019, so seeing the restaurant evolve while staying true to what we've always stood for is really special.
“The food is still all about great British produce, proper cooking and generous flavours, but we've created a more intimate feel in the restaurant and a completely new way to experience what we do at Georgie's.
"Whether you're coming in for dinner, dropping by for a Martini or a beer, or settling in for the evening, we want both spaces to feel relaxed, welcoming and unmistakably Kerridge's.”
Tom Kerridge and Corinthia London
Tom opened The Hand & Flowers in Marlow with Beth in 2005, taking the pub to a first Michelin star in 2006 before it became the world's first, and remains the only, pub to hold two stars, from 2012.
His portfolio has since grown to include The Coach and The Butcher's Tap & Grill in Marlow. He is also a bestselling cookbook author, a judge on the BBC's Great British Menu, and fronts the VAT's The Problem campaign for a cut to hospitality VAT, alongside separate campaigning to end child poverty.
Corinthia London opened in 2011 in a landmark Victorian building in Westminster. Georgie's Bar and Kerridge's open on Saturday, September 5, 2026, with reservations open now via the Georgie's Bar and Kerridge's websites.
