Sheffield is set to welcome an exciting new fine-dining destination as celebrated chef Tom Lawson prepares to open Tom Lawson at The Psalter.

The tasting menu–only restaurant is set within his newly opened boutique hotel and bar, The Psalter.

Known for his modern British cooking and a career that’s earned him a place in the Michelin Guide and 3 AA Rosettes, Tom’s latest venture promises a personal and high-quality dining experience.

The intimate restaurant will serve a seasonal tasting menu that highlights sustainable, locally sourced ingredients and storytelling through food.

Open Thursday to Saturday evenings, the restaurant will seat just 32 guests per night, ensuring an immersive and elegant experience.

Guests can enjoy a more casual menu of small plates in the bar and lounge, a popular Sunday lunch, and a new bottomless brunch offering.

He said: “This new restaurant is a real passion project – it’s about returning to the roots of what makes fine dining exciting: seasonality, creativity, and attention to every last detail.

“I’m incredibly proud of what we’re building at The Psalter, and the dining room is the heart of that vision.”

Tom Lawson at The Psalter opens for reservations on May 1.
