Community Hero

TSC Award 2022 Community Hero is Lisa Pyott, Curriculum Lead Catering & Service Industries, at Doncaster College.

Lisa may be tasked with the role of leading catering studies but she regularly goes above and beyond her job description to ensure all our catering and hospitality students are enabled to have the best start in pursuing a career in industry.

Staff well-being is also important and Lisa has been central to the development of an innovative and cohesive team that share their passion and enthusiasm for the industry and encourage students progress to a fulfilling career. No matter what challenges our students face, and no matter how busy she may be, Lisa is always ready to give time to others and ensure any issues are resolved in a calm and professional manner. She is respected in her leadership role by both staff and students, and deserves some recognition for her hard work and dedication.
