Phil Howard announced that his new pasta restaurant set to open in Piccadilly next month has changed its name from OTTO to NOTTO.

The announcement from the chef behind Elystan Street, Church Road, and Kitchen W8 addressed a legal issue swiftly, and amended the name of his new restaurant with NOTTO set to open on schedule in early November.

Commenting on the decision, Phil said: “Having no desire or intention to clash with an existing business with a similar name we took the quick decision to evolve our own identity to NOTTO - clearly retaining our root identity whilst eliminating any confusion”

Having initially debuted as an online delivery service in May 2021, NOTTO will bring its highly regarded ingredient-led dishes to central London with a chic, all-day pasta bar located in Piccadilly.

It’s expected that Phil’s love of pasta will shine through in a menu showcasing delicious, authentic pasta dishes flanked by simple, freshly prepared snacks, starters and desserts.

Executive chef Louis Korovilas (Locanda Locatelli, Pied à Terre, Bancone) will oversee the entire food operation alongside Nicholas Georgoulakis (Sloane Street Deli, Elystan Street) as General Manager of NOTTO Piccadilly and Harvi Singh (Le Manoir aux Quat’saisons and Elystan Street) as Operations Manager.
