Anthony Demetre and Will Smith's Soho restaurant, Arbutus will close later this year to reopen in a new undisclosed London location.

The restaurant was launched in Soho in May 2006 and was highly praised by customers and critics alike for its Michelin starred cuisine at affordable prices. It also offered 60 different wine options by the carafe. In a statement, Anthony said: “We have loved every minute of our time in Soho but after 10 years, the time feels right to bring a new lease of life to Arbutus and start its eleventh year in a new home.” Will added: “Moving Arbutus to a new location allows it to have an entirely fresh start, with new menus and ideas, we’re both looking forward to revealing the next chapter of the Arbutus story." Aside from winning praise from critics the Arbutus also won numerous awards and accolades including a Michelin star in 2007 which it still retains to this day and was named BMW Square Meal Best New Restaurant in Autumn 2006. Further details regarding its closure and new home will be released 'shortly'.   Anthony and Will's second restaurant, Wild Honey in Mayfair will continue to operate as normal.
