Eric Chavot's Brasserie Chavot is set to close after three years, confirming rumours which have been circulating for several months.

Eric opened the doors to Brasserie Chavot on Conduit Street in Mayfair in March 2013, receiving critical acclaim from respected food writers for its French-inspired menu. Created using the finest  produce from the UK and France, ranging from deep fried soft shell crab to snails Bourguignon, meatball and potato espuma.

Eric Chavot, Chef Patron at Brasserie Chavot said: “After almost three fantastic years at Brasserie Chavot in Mayfair, we have taken the decision to re-locate the restaurant and to expand the brand. It is an exciting time for my brigade and I. We will announce the first of our new sites shortly.”

Eric is recognised as one of Pierre Koffman’s acclaimed proteges, and served as sous chef at London’s La Tante Claire, before working under Raymond Blanc at Le Manoir Aux Quat Saisons and held two Michelin stars at The Capital for 11 years.

His first solo venture was Interlude de Chavot in Soho.

Brasserie Chavot in its current location will close at the end of 2015.
