Chef Cyrus Todiwala to front salt awareness campaign 


Chef and restaurateur Cyrus Todiwala is to front this years Salt Awareness Week (10-16 March), which is urging consumers to 'Switch the Salt'.  The campaign hopes to persuade the public to try reduced-sodium alternatives to regular salt.  Todiwala has signed up his award-winning Indian restaurant, Café Spice Namasté, to the government’s Salt Reduction Pledge, and will support the campaign by speaking at a Parliamentary Reception at the House of Commons.

The Clink Restaurant in Brixton Prison gives inmates a taste of what life can be like on the outside - and the skills to thrive there


The Clink Restaurant at HMP Brixton in South London opens to the public tomorrow, after a launch event today. Diners seeking a table for breakfast or lunch must first pass government security checks to ensure they have no links to crime or any inmates.
