ETM Group set to open Ealing Park Tavern in mid-December
Tom and Ed Martin of the privately-owned ETM Group are preparing for their thirteenth opening, the Ealing Park Tavern in South Ealing.
The venue will be a British gastro pub with an open plan kitchen, 60 cover dining room and a polished timber bar. The historic 5,000 square foot pub, once the Lewis Furnell Brewhouse and part of the London Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors, is currently undergoing an extensive refurbishment. A standout feature is the new purpose built microbrewery, a first for ETM and an acknowledgement to the pub’s brewing legacy.
Tom Martin, co-founder of ETM Group, said:
“We are extremely excited about this launch and to be brewing our own ales for the very first time. Ealing Park Tavern will be very much a neighbourhood pub serving the local community with quality food, drink and services as well as an ever-evolving roster of event.”
The brewery will produce its own range of beers including bitters, pale ales and seasonal brews. The Ealing Park Tavern Brewmaster will also be available for tours, tastings and food and beer matching dinners.
There will be a range of menus available for lunch, dinner, Sunday Lunch and, of course, bar snacks. The menus will be characterised by the use of British and European seasonal produce sourced from UK farms and niche suppliers. An extensive wine list of over 100 accessible wines will sit alongside the home-brewed ales, premium bottled lagers, ciders and spirits.
The Ealing Park Tavern’s official launch part is due to be held on Wednesday 21st January 2015. The gastro-pub will be the ETM Group’s 13th opening in London. Other venues include the award-winning Gun in the Docklands, The Jugged Hare, One Canada Square and The Botanist on Sloane Square.
