To coincide with National Cupcake Week Maison Blanc’s patissiers have designed and created a new cupcake to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support with 50p of every ‘Macmillan Cupcake’ sold going to the cancer charity.

Marketing Director Rebecca Rose said: “We are incredibly proud to support Macmillan Cancer Support and to help people affected by cancer. We will be fundraising across all of our 14 branches and working hard to sell as many cupcakes as possible.”

Priced at £1.99, the ‘Macmillan Cupcake’ is made from a light vanilla flavoured sponge and topped with vanilla buttercream with a green marzipan Macmillan ribbon.

Fundraising Manager Carole Hefferman said: “We are delighted that Maison Blanc has chosen to support us. With over 900 people in the UK being diagnosed with cancer every day all monies raised are vital in ensuring that we can continue to deliver and expand the range of services we offer to people affected by cancer and their families.”
