Pret a Diner heads back to the UK

The entourage of Pret a Diner is preparing for the next leg of their journey, their comeback to the UK. They will celebrate the tempting art of dining and praise the inspiring clash of cultures at The Club at Café Royal from April 21 to May 23.

Pret a Diner started with an idea of a dining experience where Michelin-starred food, masterful cocktails, art, music and people were all fused together to create a sensory experience for culture seekers wherever it landed.  Not bound by buildings or borders, Pret a Diner journeys across the globe embracing new traditions.

Talking about the collaboration with Café Royal, KP Kofler, Founder of Pret a Diner said: “There is no other place in the world that has hosted so many icons. Rock stars, politicians, actors and writers like Oscar Wilde, Mark Twain, Virginia Woolf, Winston Churchill, Princess Diana, Brigitte Bardot, David Bowie, Muhammed Ali, Andy Warhol, The Beatles, Madonna and Tracey Emin to name just a few. The legacy of Café Royal is soaked in inspiration. We can’t wait to become a part of this history!”

Hotel Café Royal’s executive chef, Andrew Turner will team up with two New York based chefs Patti Jackson (Michelin star restaurant, Delaware and Hudson in Brooklyn) and West Village resident Ryan Tate (formerly at Blenheim and Le Restaurant where he received a Michelin star within six months of opening his latter establishment). All chefs will create a combined sharing selection of snacks, followed by one course from each chef forming a four-course menu. Tiziano Tasso, Bar Manager of The Club at Café Royal, is to collaborate with Dominic Jacobs (The Whip, Mayfair) to create a range of cocktails, inspired by the original Café Royal cocktail book, compiled in 1937.
