Liam Cocken, sous-chef at La Popote in Cheshire won the award for the best Seasonal and Sustainable dish with his lamb breast with courgette, kalamata and feta.

Before joining the French bistro, Liam was the head chef at The Mere Golf Resort and Spa; The Vicarage Freehouse & Rooms and at the Northop Hall Country House Hotel & Chequers Restaurant.
