This New Year’s Eve, celebrated chef Michael Caines MBE will personally host guests at his Devon hotel and restaurant, Lympstone Manor.

The event promises to be one of the most exclusive celebrations of the festive season.

A New Year’s celebration at the chef’s “home from home”

The two-Michelin-starred chef is inviting guests to step inside his “home from home” for Michael’s New Year’s House Party - an immersive, three-day experience at his luxury country manor overlooking the Exe estuary.

Those staying between Monday, December 30, 2025 and Friday, January 2, 2026 will enjoy two or three nights of indulgence, beginning with a bottle of Lympstone Manor Estate Classic Cuvée on arrival and a relaxed à la carte dinner to ease into the celebrations.

Champagne, fireworks and an eight-course tasting menu

On New Year’s Eve, the manor will transform into a glamorous black-tie party. Guests will gather from 6pm for Champagne and live music from the Leigh Coleman Duo, before sitting down to an eight-course tasting menu created by Michael and his team, paired with wines selected by Lympstone Manor’s sommeliers.

As midnight approaches, guests will join Michael for a Champagne toast beneath a firework display over the vineyard and estuary, before dancing late into the night as live music continues.

The first morning of 2026 begins with a guided estuary walk, where guests can spot winter migratory birds before a convivial wine tasting with the sommelier team. Another evening of fine dining rounds off the New Year’s retreat - a celebration of friendship, flavour and the kind of hospitality that has become Michael’s signature.

Evening-only tickets for local diners

For those based nearby, evening-only tickets for the black-tie gala are available from £525 per person. The experience includes Champagne aperitifs, an eight-course tasting menu with matching wine flight, and a Champagne toast at midnight during the firework display.

Dinner will be served on shared tables - an opportunity for guests to celebrate together over exceptional food, wine and conversation.

Two- or three-night stays for New Year start from £1,240 per night, based on double occupancy. Packages include breakfast each day, a bottle of Classic Cuvée on arrival, the guided walk on New Year’s Day, à la carte dining on each night of the stay (excluding New Year’s Eve), the tasting menu with matching wines, and all Champagne toasts.

Evening-only tickets are priced from £525 per person.

Christmas at Lympstone Manor

Michael will also host a three-night Christmas stay at Lympstone Manor, beginning on Christmas Eve with a festive brass band, carols, mince pies and mulled wine. Guests will enjoy an eight-course Christmas Eve tasting menu, with optional transport available to Midnight Mass at Exeter Cathedral.

Christmas Day begins with Champagne breakfast, followed by a five-course tasting menu served as lunch or dinner, and Boxing Day features a vineyard tour and wine tasting. Rates for the Christmas package start from £1,240 per night, based on double occupancy.
