Michelin starred chef Tom Kerridge announced for The 20th Anniversary of Skills for Chefs

Chef Tom Kerridge, whose pub The Hand and Flowers holds two stars in the Michelin Guide UK, will open the 20th anniversary of Skills for Chefs at Sheffield City College.

This year's conference will have a new format and will open with 'an audience with Tom Kerridge' on Wednesday, July 5, 2017. 

This will be followed by a special Parsi feast created by Cyrus Todiwala OBE who will be working with chefs at The University of Sheffield.

David McKown, Director of Skills for Chefs said: “We wanted to change things around for the 20th Anniversary and this new format will allow more delegates to engage with both the business and networking programme." 

The conference will continue on Thursday, July 6 with culinary presentations from chefs including michelin-starred, Paul Cunningham who will be traveling over from Denmark for the event and pastry skills from Claire Clark whose career spans from The Ritz to The French Laundry.

Other chefs lined up for the event include Francesco Mazzei from Satoria in Mayfair, Damian Wawrzyniak, who will bring a taste of Poland with him and a series of masterclasses from michelin-starred Rupert Rowley

The conference will close with a spectacular Gala Dinner on Thursday, July 6.
