Every restaurant added to The Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland in 2026
Michael O’Hare’s Inlamentation is among the latest restaurants added to The Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland.
The Boston Spa restaurant, from the chef behind The Man Behind The Curtain, leads the latest monthly update from Michelin, with 12 restaurants added to the Guide in July.
The Michelin Guide updates its online selection throughout the year, with inspectors adding newly recommended restaurants ahead of the annual awards ceremony.
These monthly additions are not the same as Michelin stars, Bib Gourmands or special awards. Those are announced separately at the annual Michelin Guide ceremony.

July 2026 Michelin Guide additions
Inlamentation, Boston Spa
Inlamentation is one of the most notable names in the July update.
The restaurant is the new project from Michael O’Hare, who previously held a Michelin star at The Man Behind The Curtain in Leeds.
Located in Boston Spa, West Yorkshire, Inlamentation marks a new chapter for Michael, whose cooking has long been associated with precision, theatre and a distinctive visual identity.
Its addition to The Michelin Guide makes it one of the most closely watched new restaurants in the north of England.
The Two Pigs, Barton-under-Needwood
The Two Pigs is another significant addition, bringing Liam Dillon’s Staffordshire pub into The Michelin Guide.
Liam is best known as the chef behind The Boat in Lichfield, which holds a Michelin star and has helped establish him as one of the Midlands’ leading chef-restaurateurs.
The Two Pigs is a different proposition, combining the feel of a village pub with the standards of a serious food-led operation.
Its inclusion in the Guide adds further weight to Staffordshire’s growing reputation, with Liam now represented through both The Boat and The Two Pigs.
elda at Stoke Mill, Stoke Holy Cross
Elda at Stoke Mill gives the July list an important Norfolk storyline.
The restaurant occupies the space formerly associated with STORE at Stoke Mill, which earned a Michelin star under chef Liam Nichols before later closing.
Elda is led by Chris Bartlett and Hazel Yuille, with the restaurant having developed from a pop-up into a permanent restaurant in 2026.

Its addition to The Michelin Guide continues the Stoke Mill story, while marking a new identity for the site.
Eleven Fifty Five, Glasgow
Eleven Fifty Five in Glasgow is the latest project from Peter McKenna, formerly chef-owner of The Gannet.
The restaurant opened in the former Gannet site on Argyle Street in Finnieston, following the closure of The Gannet after more than a decade.

Where The Gannet was one of Glasgow’s most respected contemporary restaurants, Eleven Fifty Five represents a new chapter for Peter, with a more relaxed bistro-style direction.
Its inclusion in The Michelin Guide puts the restaurant quickly back into the national conversation.

June 2026 Michelin Guide additions
In June, 12 restaurants were added to The Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland, including Daise by Tony Parkin, Burro in London and Ogof in Cardiff.
Daise by Tony Parkin was one of the standout additions. The Wirral restaurant opened earlier this year from Tony Parkin, who previously held a Michelin star at The Tudor Room at Great Fosters.
The month also saw Burro, the first solo restaurant from Trullo chef co-owner Conor Gadd, added to the Guide.

April 2026 Michelin Guide additions
April brought one of the larger monthly updates of the year, with 18 restaurants added to The Michelin Guide.
The new additions included Tommy Banks pub with rooms General Tarleton in Knaresborough, Le Nautique in Guernsey, Grantley Arms in Ripon, 10 Tib Lane in Manchester and a number of London restaurants.

February 2026 Michelin Guide ceremony
February was different from the monthly additions updates.
Rather than a normal monthly list of newly recommended restaurants, February was when The Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland 2026 was officially revealed at the annual ceremony in Dublin.
That ceremony confirmed the new Michelin stars, Bib Gourmands, green stars and special awards for the 2026 Guide.
Among the headline stories, Bonheur by Matt Abé and Row on 5, from Jason Atherton and Spencer Metzger, were both awarded two Michelin stars, while 20 restaurants received one star.

January 2026 Michelin Guide additions
January was the final monthly additions update before The Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland 2026 ceremony.
The list included a number of high-profile restaurants, among them 74 Charlotte Street by Ben Murphy in London, Pignut and The Hare in Helmsley, Corenucopia by Clare Smyth, Bonheur by Matt Abé and The Kerfield Arms.

What does being added to The Michelin Guide mean?
Being added to The Michelin Guide means a restaurant has been selected by Michelin’s inspectors and included in the Guide’s online restaurant selection.
It does not mean the restaurant has been awarded a Michelin star.
Michelin stars, Bib Gourmands, Green Stars and special awards are announced separately at the annual Michelin Guide ceremony.
However, a Guide listing remains a significant recognition for restaurants, chefs and front-of-house teams, particularly for new openings and restaurants building national visibility.
