Adam Byatt to host evening at The Abinger Cookery School

The Staff Canteen

Adam Byatt is to host an evening at new Surrey cooking school, The Abinger. This ‘Easy Entertaining class’ will be an intimate evening of cooking and dining with Adam which is being held on the 11th July with only 16 places available.

The Abinger is the innovative new cookery school in the heart of the Surrey hills where Adam will be demoing four show-stopping courses, guaranteed to deliver gourmet dinner parties time after time.

As well as revealing the secrets of preparing every aspect of his grandstand menu to delicious perfection, you’ll also be able to sit down and enjoy it with him too. From herb-crusted razor clams with fennel, lemon thyme, chilli and lime, and warm salad of wood pigeon, deep-fried Clarence court egg, endive and sherry vinegar, to salt-baked sea bass, salad of fennel, orange and dill, finishing with summer berry and Champagne jelly with red fruits and Chantilly cream, each dish is designed to impress and delight. More about Adam: Began his illustrious career at Claridge’s at just 16 and has since excelled at the legendary likes of the Berkeley Hotel, the Michelin-starred Square in Mayfair and his own award-laden Thyme.

He is recognised as one of London’s most brilliant young chefs, combining a rock-solid classical training with a passion for all the most up-to-date foodie trends and culinary ‘wizardry’. A familiar face on TV shows such as Saturday Kitchen, Celebrity Masterchef and the Great British Menu, the chance to get up close and personal and see Adam working his magic in the kitchen first-hand – and leave with the know-how to recreate his fabulous food at home – is unmissable.
