Final chef line-up revealed for The Staff Canteen Live 2018 at Hotelympia

The Staff Canteen Live in association with Westlands is back and the chef line-up for our show at Hotelympia 2018 is awesome…. even if we do say so ourselves!

Not to be missed we will be at Hotelympia with some of the UK’s most talented chefs over the four day event, allowing you to get up close to industry greats. We've now revealed our full line-up apart from one mystery chef who will be announced at the end of January 2018!

Kicking off on March 5 2018, Hotelympia runs until March 8 and is considered the UK's largest foodservice and hospitality event and the most important event for any professional wanting to gain access to the latest products.

The Staff Canteen Live will be there showcasing the industry’s best cooks and just to give you a taste of the talent set to step on to The Staff Canteen Live stage here are the first five chefs looking forward to creating their dishes for you – live! You'll be able to ask them questions, taste their food and meet them once they finish on stage.

First on our list are culinary heavy weights Sat Bains and John Freeman, if you don’t know about them already (where have you been?) they are heading to Hotelympia from two Michelin-starred Restaurant Sat Bains in Nottingham. Our next chef is Michelin star chef Paul Ainsworth, his restaurant Paul Ainsworth at Number 6 is based in Padstow Cornwall.

Joining those chefs will be Dan Doherty, executive chef at 24 hour restaurant Duck and Waffle which is based 40 floors up in Heron Tower. And finally Gareth Ward from Michelin-starred Ynyshir Restaurant  and rooms. Gareth and his team were awarded five AA Rosettes at the Hospitality Awards this year. Great British Menu 2017 winner Pip Lacey is next on our list, she is currently working on her first solo project Hicce. 

Heading back into the Michelin Guide for 2018 is Matt Worswick at The Latymer, and he's also heading back to our stage so don't miss him! And Ashley Palmer-Watts and his head chef at Dinner, Jonny Glass, will be taking us through one of the amazing two star dishes from the current menu.

Shaun Rankin, who recently left Michelin-starred Ormer Jersey, will be on stage bringing us a dish from the Ormer Mayfair menu and hopefully telling us what he plans to do next! Also on the line-up is Adam Byatt from  Michelin-starred Trinity.

Nigel Haworth who has recently taken a step back from the kitchen at Northcote, will be joined on stage by his son Kirk. Husband and wife team Mark and Shauna Froydenlund will be cooking a dish from the two Michelin-starred menu at Marcus.

Matt Abe retained the three Michelin stars at Gordon Ramsay's Royal Hospital Road and he will be cooking one of the dishes from the menu on our stage, make sure you grab a seat and a spoon so you can get your hands on a taster! Renowned chef Richard Corrigan also joins us with his chef David Simms and she's just taken over the reins at Northcote but Lisa Goodwin-Allen is taking a day out of the Michelin-starred kitchen to be a part of The Staff Canteen Live.

And the legend that is John Williams from the Michelin-starred The Ritz will be joining us so if you want to know more about what goes on in the kitchens of one of London's most iconic hotels grab a seat!

Closing the show on the final day will be Dom Chapman from The Beehive so make sure you register for your ticket now.

Hotelympia 2018 will equip visitors with products, trends and innovations to develop their businesses. It is the place to source new products from the great volume and variety of suppliers. Hotelympia is also set to unveil a variety of new exhibitors, attractions and business opportunities.
