Specialist catering firm to enhance event experience at some of Brighton’s historic properties

A leading events caterer is looking forward to contributing towards an “unforgettable” experience at Brighton’s Royal Pavilion & Museums Trust.

As one of the newly appointed caterers for the Royal Pavilion & Museums Trust, Seasoned is joining the team to provide mouth-watering menus for events at the Brighton Museum & Art Gallery and the Royal Pavilion.

The Trust is a charitable organisation that manages the Royal Pavilion & Museum’s buildings and collections on behalf of Brighton & Hove City Council.

Graham Turner, Seasoned’s Managing Partner, Venues, added: “We are truly excited to be adding to our portfolio in Brighton and delivering on the Trust’s aim to create a stimulating and unforgettable experience for guests at events.

“We are always looking for the next venture in retail events and adding this contract demonstrates the quality and vision of Seasoned venues to deliver into these historic properties."

Seasoned’s impressive green credentials include sourcing 85 per cent of its ingredients within a 100-mile radius.

It also ensures its events are carbon neutral thanks to its
partnership with the Woodland Trust.

Seasoned calculates how much carbon dioxide is created by the number of people attending an event and then pays to plant trees in ancient woodland to offset the impact.

In addition, the company avoids using mineral water at its events and instead uses bottles made from recycled glass, which can once again be sent for recycling after use.

Graham added: “Our complimentary skillsets will add extra depth to these existing well-run visitor venues and we look forward to working with the team to offer a world-class events experience.”

Hedley Swain, CEO of the Royal Pavilion & Museum Trust, said: “We are pleased to welcome Seasoned to our portfolio of event caterers. We were impressed by their commitment to sustainable methods which is an issue close to hearts as well as the delicious food they provide. We’re sure visitors to our many events, weddings and performances will enjoy their menus too.”
