Clifton Food Range® is part of Nickel-Electro Ltd, a family firm based in Weston-super-Mare which was incorporated as a limited company in 1941, but its roots can be traced back to 1935 when the business first started. The compact water baths have the controls placed on the narrow end of the bath, so that the whole unit can be run from ‘front to back’ on the counter top. It is also an opportunity to gain an understanding of how the water baths work and to experience the remarkable textures and flavours that can be achieved with sous vide cooking. During the visit, guests can take a tour of the on site factory to see how the baths are manufactured, as well as visiting the garden grounds where Clifton grow all their own vegetables and keep several bee hives.
